Our Origins
MEJJI begins in Boudnib, Morocco at the edge of the desert, where palm groves rise from stone and sand and time moves differently.
Here, dates are not a trend or a product. They are a way of life, shaped by sun, patience, and generations of care.
This region has long been known for producing some of Morocco’s finest dates, thanks to its dry climate, mineral-rich soil, and wide temperature shifts that allow fruit to mature slowly and deeply. These are conditions that cannot be replicated, only respected.
Medjool Date
Our Medjool dates are grown slowly, allowed to reach full maturity on the palm. They are naturally generous , soft, deep, caramel-like, without needing embellishment.
Medjool is often called the king of dates, but we prefer to think of it as a benchmark: a date that reveals what patience, climate, and care can achieve when nothing is rushed.
At MEJJI, Medjool is not transformed. It is finished with restraint, so its natural character remains intact.
Farming, Reconsidered
We work with organic-certified farms that represent the most advanced and sustainable date cultivation standards in the world.
Modern irrigation systems preserve water. Harvesting is done with precision and restraint. Each palm is managed for quality, not yield.
Every date is grown with a long view in mind:
respect for the land, for the people who work it, and for the fruit itself.
